大井電気は横浜にある通信、制御機器の専門メーカー。１０００台のアレフゼロを製造・販売したが、その後、電卓事業から撤退した。アレフゼロは現在本社に展示してある。 Oi-Electric is a maker of communication and controlling devices in Yokohama. They made about 1000 aleph-zero and went out electronic calculator business. An Aleph-zero is now exhibited in the lobby of Oi-Electric. |

大井電気は通信、制御機器の専門メーカー。１９６３年の夏に既に試作機を完成していた。その意味で、電卓の最初の開発メーカーともいえる。 この機械はトランジスターではなく、パラメトロンを使用していた。パラメト ロンは東大の高橋秀俊教授により開発された素子である。パラメトロンは多くの電力を必要としたが、トランジスターより正確で製品寿命が長い といった特徴があった。Aleph-zero 101
Oi-Electric made a trial machine in the summer of 1963. So it was the first developer of electronic calculator. It used parametron not transistor. The parametron was developed by Professor Hidetoshi Takahashi of Tokyo University. Though parametron needed much power, it was accurate and long life than transistor. The specific points of Aleph-zero was the way of calculating. It used very simple method of operating as we now using. |
